We also have capabilities to cover proceedings in Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and throughout Europe.

What court reporting methodologies do you offer?
Court reporting relies on professional skill and technology, whether Stenography, Voice Writing, or Digital Reporting. All three court reporting methodologies lead to the production of a final, verbatim transcript of a deposition, trial, or other legal proceeding.

At U.S. Legal Support, you can choose to leverage a Stenographer, Voice Writer, or Digital Reporter for your proceeding. We have a network of 5,000+ professional court reporters across the country, ready to cover your next proceeding.

What is a Digital Reporter?
The first thing to keep in mind about a Digital Reporter is that their primary function is the same as other types of court reporters: a trained, certified professional who understands civil procedure and is present for the duration of the proceeding. Digital reporters utilize high-performance audio recording equipment, specialized software, and other technology to capture an accurate record. This is not a “set-it-and-forget-it” recording that relies solely on technology, however. Digital reporters continuously monitor the proceeding, all technology, and the speech-to-text output to ensure a verbatim record. Learn more about digital reporting here.

Do you offer a realtime feed of the court reporter’s transcript?
Yes, if you would like a realtime feed of the court reporter’s transcript, you may indicate this when ordering services. Realtime is available for remote and in-person proceedings.

Do you offer a document depository?
U.S. Legal Support provides a secure online depository for produced documents to be available to all parties in a case whenever they’re needed. And when utilizing U.S. Legal Support for depositions, all clients also receive access to our document depository services at no additional charge. Learn more about our document depository

How can I prepare my client for an upcoming deposition?
Knowing how to prepare a client for a deposition is extremely important, especially if your client or witness is being deposed for the first time. They need to be armed with information on how to prepare for a deposition and avoid common pitfalls.

For client and witness preparation, start by ensuring they understand that depositions are sworn testimony and may be leveraged both directly and indirectly by opposing counsel throughout a lawsuit or trial process. Learn more about how to prepare clients for an upcoming deposition

Do you offer an online Client Portal?
Yes, we have a secure online Client Portal that provides 24/7, central access to important case information and tools to keep your litigation moving forward. You can schedule depositions, view upcoming scheduled proceedings, review transcripts and exhibits post-proceeding, request record retrieval services, view retrieved records, pay invoices, and more.
